Trenton Battle Monument Beautification Project

Vocational Arts Science and Training Center, Inc. of Trenton (V.A.S.T.) partners with the Joyce Kilmer Intermediate School, Principal Paula Bethea, and veterans together twice a year to plant flowers at the Trenton Battle Monument. Attending were Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora, North Ward Council Person Jennifer Williams, Council Person at Large, Yaz Minelli, LT. Col. Yvonne Johnson U.S.A.F. (Ret.), Mercer County Veterans Affairs Chief, Medina Wilson, CAPT. U.S. Army (Ret.), Instructors from Joint Base Dix McGuire Lakehurst, Kish School of Leadership, and representatives from amazon.com. Citation of Appreciation Letters from State Senator Shirley Turner and Mercer County Executive Dan Benson were delivered and read to each of the fifty students. NJSSAR State Historian, Roger S.
