“Experience the Battle of Princeton and the Lineage Organization Wreath Commemoration

The Reenactment of the Battle of Princeton took place on the cold but sunny Princeton Battlefield State Park on January 5, 2025. Temperatures were in the high 20s; winds were at 15mph. Over 1,700 citizens and 300 dedicated reenactors and support staff were on the field to lend justice to the day’s historic significance. A few major supporters, including Caroline and Peter Travers, Lorna Hainesworth, Wawa, the New Jersey Society Sons of the Revolution, and the Sons of the American Revolution made the reenactment possible. Attending included, Princeton Mayor, Mark Freda, NJDEP’s Mark Texel, Crossroads of the American Revolution National Heritage Area and Revolution NJ Executive Director, Carrie Fellows, Rosemary Kelley, Daughters of the American Revolution, Ken McKeever, Jon Mclean, Ben Strong, Sons of the Revolution, Jim McNeally, Society of the Cincinnati, Jennifer Martin, Exec. Dir., Friends of Washington Crossing, Brad Fay, Victory Town Coord., Washington Rochembeau Trail. SAR Color Guard members from NJSSAR, PASSAR, ESSSAR, and VASSAR were led by NJSSAR Acting Commander Ed Glidden.
